Handling

 

Although this material is not classified as hazardous, like all chemicals it should be treated with respect and in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety procedures.  In order to avoid the possibility of skin disorders, repeated or prolonged contact with products of this type must be avoided.  It is essential to maintain a high standard of personal hygiene.  Wash hands thoroughly after handling this product.  Avoid contact with eyes.  Do not breathe vapours or mists.  Do not ingest.

Disposal of product

 

According to Controlled Waste Regulation.  Incineration may be possible, where authorised, after mixing with combustible material.  The combustion products will include hydrogen fluoride.  Spent solutions of used product       and small quantities (less than 5 gallons or 20 litres) may, where authorised, be slowly discharged to a wastewater treatment system.  If foaming occurs reduce discharge rate.  Alternatively incineration may be used as above
